About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Exhibition Designer to join their team, working remotely and contributing to impactful projects within the Arts & Entertainment sector, specifically focusing on museums and galleries. This role involves translating curatorial concepts into engaging and immersive physical and digital exhibition spaces. You will be responsible for developing spatial designs, selecting materials, and overseeing the fabrication and installation process to create memorable visitor experiences. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape how audiences interact with art and culture, working flexibly from your chosen location and collaborating with a passionate team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and functional exhibition designs, including floor plans, spatial layouts, and detailed visuals.
• Collaborate closely with curators, researchers, and interpretation teams to understand exhibition narratives and objectives.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and lighting to enhance the visitor experience and artwork presentation.
• Produce technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings for client presentations and fabrication.
• Oversee the fabrication and installation process, ensuring designs are realised to the highest standards and within budget.
• Stay abreast of best practices in museum design, accessibility, and audience engagement.

Requirements

• Degree in Exhibition Design , Interior Architecture, or a related creative field.
• Proven experience in designing exhibitions for museums, galleries, or cultural institutions.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and fabrication processes.
• Excellent spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A passion for the Arts & Entertainment industry and creating compelling narrative environments.
