Experienced Architectural Technologist
Location: Preston
Salary: £40-45,000

Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information using Revit and AutoCAD
Developing technical solutions from initial design through to construction
Preparing planning, Building Regulations, and tender information
Coordinating project information with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients
Supporting BIM coordination and maintaining accurate and consistent project information
Attending design meetings, client meetings, and site visits throughout project delivery
Assisting with the resolution of technical issues and developing practical construction solutions
Ensuring designs comply with current Building Regulations, relevant standards, and industry best practice
Working closely with internal and external project teams to deliver high-quality projects within agreed timescalesIdeal Candidate
Experienced Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist with UK-based industry experience
HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology
Strong technical knowledge with experience producing detailed construction information
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience working within a BIM environment
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing
Experience working across various stages of the RIBA Plan of Work would be advantageous
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proactive and committed approach with a genuine interest in delivering high-quality technical design solutions
