Extrusion Machine Operator/Setter

Condale Plastics is the largest producer of bespoke plastic extrusions in the South East of England with a successful track record of business growth for over 50 years. We supply a wide range of extruded profiles and tubes to a broad selection of customers in a variety of industries We are looking to recruit machine setters to work in our extrusion factory on day-shift. Ideally you will have had machine setting experience in a plastic extrusion facility or a similar environment such as injection or blow moulding. S uccessful candidates will be given further training on how to operate our extrusion equipment and our processes including quality control. Our machine setters are responsible for preparing our extrusion machines to be ready for operation, setting the tooling, establishing the correct processing conditions and for running good product thereafter. All setters check and manage the quality of the products that they produce. We are looking for staff to work on our permanent day-shift, Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates will be capable of working with limited supervision. The job will very much suit someone that has a mechanical aptitude or worked in a similar manufacturing environment previously and is used to relatively physical work.
