Job Description
Overview

Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring extrusion machines
- Checking raw materials are correct, then loading onto machines
- Quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
- Housekeeping of extrusion lines, recycling units, packaging automation and associated equipment
- Ensure extruder pressures, amps, melt temperatures, frost lines and raw material feed are monitored at all times
- Report all hazardous situations immediately
- Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels, quality issues and yield against plan/targets on each line
- Potential to be working at height
Details
- Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (2 days and 2 nights) 12 hours days and nights 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
- Pay Rate: £16.11 per hour; £24.16 per hour after standard weekly hours
