Extrusion Operator

Extrusion Operator Duties

• Setting up and operating blown film extrusion machinery
• Monitoring production processes and adjusting where required
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification
• Troubleshooting minor process issues to minimise downtime
• Completing production documentation accurately
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient shift handovers

Extrusion Operator Requirements

• Previous experience operating extrusion machinery within manufacturing
• General extrusion experience will also be considered
• A good understanding of quality and production standards
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
• A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work a continental shift pattern

What's On Offer

• £30,000 basic salary
• Overtime opportunities with typical OTE around £40,000
• 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 nights on, 3 days off shift pattern
