Location: NW2 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term Salary: £39,196–£52,241 per annum, in line with M1–M6

Apex Educ8 are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS / Reception Teacher to join a primary school in the NW2 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who understands the importance of creating a positive start to school life and can provide a supportive, engaging environment where young children feel confident to learn, explore and develop.

You’ll play an important role in supporting children's early development while creating a classroom environment where every child is encouraged to participate and make progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework

• Support children's academic, social and emotional development

• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

• Assess and monitor children's progress

• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and abilities

• Encourage children's communication, independence, and confidence

• Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Promote positive behaviour and engagement

• Work effectively with teaching assistants and the wider school team

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching EYFS or Reception

• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach

• Good classroom and behaviour management skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine commitment to supporting children's development
