EYFS / Reception Teacher
Location: NW2 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term Salary: £39,196–£52,241 per annum, in line with M1–M6
Apex Educ8 are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS / Reception Teacher to join a primary school in the NW2 area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who understands the importance of creating a positive start to school life and can provide a supportive, engaging environment where young children feel confident to learn, explore and develop.
You’ll play an important role in supporting children's early development while creating a classroom environment where every child is encouraged to participate and make progress.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's academic, social and emotional development
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and monitor children's progress
- Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and abilities
- Encourage children's communication, independence, and confidence
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Work effectively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching EYFS or Reception
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Good classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine commitment to supporting children's development
