Full-time - Maternity Cover
Salary: £41,729 - £54,131 per year (Inner London M1 - M6)
About the role and school
We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets from October on a full-time maternity cover basis. This EYFS Teacher role offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team and create a strong foundation for children's educational development.
The school has a nurturing approach to early education, with a strong focus on communication, independence, social development and learning through purposeful play. The successful EYFS Teacher will benefit from a collaborative team and a supportive leadership structure.
This EYFS Teacher position would suit a confident practitioner who understands the importance of creating an engaging and stimulating early years environment. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences while ensuring every child is supported to make progress.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons as an EYFS Teacher
- Plan and implement activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's communication, language and social development
- Monitor and assess children's progress
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching in EYFS is desirable
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
