About the Role

We are recruiting for a part-time Facilities Cleaner to contribute to the upkeep of premises in Milton Keynes . This role involves ensuring a clean, tidy, and hygienic environment for staff and visitors across various office spaces and common areas. As a key member of the site operations team, you will play an integral part in maintaining a professional atmosphere and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This position is ideal for an individual seeking flexible working hours while contributing to a pleasant and functional workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Sanitize kitchen areas, restrooms, and other high-traffic zones to maintain hygiene standards.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls in restrooms and kitchens.
• Dispose of general waste and recycling responsibly, ensuring bins are clean and orderly.
• Clean windows and doors to ensure a bright and welcoming appearance.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report larger issues to the facilities manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and follow cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines .
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently during scheduled shifts.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including standing and light lifting.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
• Good communication skills, enabling reporting of any concerns.
