About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Facilities Cleaning Assistant to join their operations team in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK . This role is fundamental to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of our client's facilities. You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning duties, ensuring that work areas, communal spaces, and amenities are kept in impeccable condition. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for all building occupants and visitors. This is a hands-on role requiring dedication and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of office spaces, meeting rooms, reception areas, and restrooms.
• Ensure all floors are cleaned, vacuumed, and maintained according to established standards.
• Manage the cleanliness of kitchen and break areas, including appliance cleaning and sanitization.
• Replenish consumables in restrooms and kitchenettes as needed.
• Undertake periodic deep cleaning tasks and assist with event setup/cleanup as required.

Requirements

• Experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role is preferred.
• A diligent approach to work with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Familiarity with a range of cleaning equipment and products.
