About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Facilities Cleaning Operative to contribute to the upkeep of their premises in Leeds . Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in offices, common areas, and restrooms.
• Ensure waste bins are emptied regularly and waste is disposed of correctly in designated areas.
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed, maintaining stock levels.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the facilities manager promptly.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and work efficiently to meet completion times.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is advantageous but not essential.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning materials.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
