About the Role

Our client requires a versatile Facilities Cleaning Operative to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of their premises in Nottingham . This role is key to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and presentable environment for staff, visitors, and clients. You will undertake a variety of cleaning tasks across different areas, including offices, common areas, and restrooms, using appropriate equipment and materials. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to high standards of cleanliness, with the ability to manage their workload efficiently and work effectively as part of a facilities team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of office spaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of washrooms and kitchen facilities.
• Operate and care for cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Manage the supply and replenishment of cleaning consumables.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety regulations .
• Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to handle cleaning duties, including lifting and standing.
