About the Role

Our client requires a dependable Facilities Cleaning Operative to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of their commercial properties in Liverpool . This role is fundamental to presenting a professional and welcoming image to tenants, visitors, and clients. You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks across different areas of the facilities, including office spaces, reception areas, restrooms, and hallways, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be proactive, thorough, and committed to providing a high-quality cleaning service, working efficiently to manage their assigned areas and contribute to a positive building environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute general cleaning duties in office spaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are consistently hygienic and fully stocked with consumables.
• Perform floor maintenance, including vacuuming carpets, sweeping hard floors, and mopping designated areas.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse collection, adhering to recycling and disposal guidelines.
• Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a polished appearance of the facility.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during cleaning rounds.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial or facilities cleaning is preferred.
• Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Good physical stamina for manual cleaning tasks and ability to work at height (e.g., window cleaning).
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
