Our client is looking for a reliable Facilities Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across their premises in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are kept tidy, sanitary, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties in all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and kitchens.
• Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of rubbish and recycling.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to high standards of hygiene.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishers, and carpet cleaners as required.
• Restock consumables like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in washrooms and kitchens.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock deficiencies to the facilities manager promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
• Familiarity with standard cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Understanding of basic health and safety guidelines in the workplace.
