About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Cleaning Supervisor to oversee their cleaning operations in Liverpool . In this crucial role, you will lead a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for team management, scheduling, quality control, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of cleaning operatives to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, allocating tasks and resources effectively to meet operational needs.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to monitor cleaning standards and ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring appropriate PPE is used.
• Liaise with facility management and clients to address any specific cleaning concerns or requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals, including COSHH regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend or evening shifts as required.
