Facilities Engineer - Offshore

About the Role

Our client requires an experienced Facilities Engineer with a focus on offshore operations to join their team based near Liverpool . This role is responsible for the integrity, safety, and operational efficiency of offshore production facilities. You will oversee maintenance, modifications, and upgrades to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore engineering and a proven ability to manage complex facility challenges in a remote and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and repair of offshore facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement facility integrity management programs.
• Manage modifications and upgrades to offshore facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all operations meet stringent HS&E requirements.
• Plan and execute shutdown and turnaround activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including operations, drilling, and subsea engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in offshore facilities engineering and operations.
• Proven experience with asset integrity management, maintenance strategies, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations and environmental protection measures.
• Experience with process safety principles and hazard identification.
• Ability to work effectively on offshore rotation schedules and manage remote operations.
