About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to join their fully remote technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of onshore and offshore facilities critical to the Oil & Gas industry . This position offers the flexibility to work from any location, focusing on ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficiency of production facilities through remote monitoring and expert guidance. You will contribute to optimizing operational performance and asset management across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, modification, and maintenance of oil and gas processing facilities.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and maintenance strategies for facility equipment.
- Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments for facility integrity and safety.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide remote engineering support to site teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and environmental policies.
- Manage capital expenditure projects related to facility upgrades and expansions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities engineering , specifically within the Oil & Gas sector .
- Strong knowledge of process equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Experience with P&ID development, HAZOP studies, and asset integrity management.
- Proven ability to manage projects and work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
