Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (flexible start/finish times available)
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, proactive individual to join a well-established engineering manufacturer as a Facilities Maintenance Assistant .
Working as part of a small, friendly maintenance team, you'll help keep a modern manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently, carrying out a wide range of building maintenance, repairs and site improvements. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience looking to develop their skills.
Facilities Maintenance Assistant Package
- £30,000 - £32,000 salary (depending on experience)

Facilities Maintenance Assistant Duties
- Carrying out general building and facilities maintenance
- Completing repairs to the building, fixtures and site infrastructure
- Performing routine inspections across the factory and grounds
- Responding to day-to-day maintenance issues
- Assisting with preventative maintenance and improvement projects
- Liaising with external contractors when required
- Helping maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment
- Supporting maintenance activities at other nearby company sites when required

- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
