About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Facilities Maintenance Engineer to manage the upkeep of their premises in Wolverhampton . This role is critical for ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient working environment for all staff and visitors. You will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, encompassing building fabric, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Your proactive approach to identifying and rectifying issues will be key to minimizing disruptions and maintaining high standards of property management within the Wolverhampton facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Carry out repairs to the building fabric, such as plastering, painting, and minor carpentry.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the facility.
• Manage and liaise with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar engineering role.
