About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, covering a range of building services including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, functional, and pleasant working environment for all staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building fabric.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance actions.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and fixtures as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workplace.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Facilities Maintenance role or as a multi-skilled technician.
• Broad knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC principles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of maintenance issues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
