About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and proactive Facilities Maintenance Operative to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, covering a range of maintenance and repair tasks. You will be responsible for general building upkeep, minor repairs, and ensuring all safety systems are functional. The ideal candidate is a practical, hands-on individual with a good understanding of basic building maintenance procedures and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of facility upkeep in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on building systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Carry out minor repairs to building fabric, fixtures, and fittings.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all work areas and communal spaces.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or meetings.

Requirements
