About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support their operations in Nottingham . This role is responsible for ensuring that all company facilities are maintained to the highest standards, covering a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. You will be involved in both preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety equipment.
• Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to fixtures, fittings, and building fabric as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment or office furniture.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a facilities maintenance, building services, or handyman role.
• A broad skillset covering basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repair.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license for travel within Nottingham and surrounding areas.
