Facilities Manager - Technical Background
Location: Northampton
Salary: £51,500 - £55,000 + AP Payments + Private Healthcare
We're recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead engineering operations on a prestigious commercial site in Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Manager from a strong technical/building services background, looking for career progression, training and long-term development.
The Role
- Lead shift and day engineering teams.
- Ensure PPM and reactive maintenance is completed safely and on time.
- Manage subcontractors and specialist works.
- Complete compliance documentation and audits.
- Deliver toolbox talks and maintain safe systems of work.
- Support projects and develop through AP training.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience as a Facilities Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Shift Lead or similar.
- Strong technical background in building services maintenance - essential.
- Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications.
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings.
- Full UK driving licence.
- AP qualification or experience desirable.
