Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, judicial separation, and cohabitation disputes.
• Advise clients on issues relating to child arrangements, parental responsibility, and adoption.
• Handle financial remedy proceedings and asset division during divorce.
• Prepare court documents and represent clients in family court hearings.
• Provide sensitive and practical legal guidance to clients undergoing significant personal changes.
• Liaise with other professionals, such as mediators and social workers, as required.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice as a solicitor in Northern Ireland with experience in family law .
• Proficiency in handling all aspects of divorce, ancillary relief, and child law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities.
