Key Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, financial remedies, and private law children matters.
• Conduct client consultations, manage correspondence, and prepare necessary legal documentation.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and other dispute resolution forums.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records in compliance with firm policies.
• Stay abreast of changes in family law legislation and best practices, ensuring continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a current practicing certificate.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) specialising in family law .
• Strong understanding of the Children Act and Matrimonial Causes Act.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client care skills, especially in sensitive situations.
• Experience with legal aid and private funding arrangements.
