About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Family Support Worker to join their team in Wolverhampton . You will work directly with families in their homes and within the community, offering practical assistance, guidance, and emotional support. Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to families in their own homes and within the community.
• Work with families to develop and implement tailored support plans to address identified needs.
• Assist families in accessing resources and services, such as housing, benefits, and childcare.
• Monitor family progress and report on outcomes, liaising with other professionals as necessary.
• Facilitate positive parenting practices and improve communication within families.

Requirements

• Experience working with families and children in a social care or support setting.
• Understanding of child development and family dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust.
• Ability to work effectively and sensitively with diverse families in the Wolverhampton area.
• Relevant qualification such as Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
