Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Family Time Worker to work with our client based in the Bolton area. This is initially a three-month temporary role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Overview:
The role holder will work alongside Safeguarding Social Workers in delivering high-quality intervention with children and families to support in achieving positive outcomes.
Main Duties:
* Supporting families during family time sessions
* Assisting with completing home visits
* Undertaking direct work with children
* Completing work with families around behaviour management strategies, routines and boundaries
* Supporting families with budgeting
* Supporting families to access appropriate support services
* Working with families subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and court proceedings
* Completing work with families around behaviour management strategies, routines and boundaries
* Supporting families with budgeting
* Supporting families to access appropriate support services
* Working with families subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and those involved within court proceedings
Essential Criteria:
* Previous experience of undertaking direct work with children and families in a support environment
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, etc.
* Full UK driver’s licence with access to own vehicle
* Experience of supporting Safeguarding Social Workers
* Ability to support families with behaviour management strategies, routines and boundaries
* Ability to manage allocated workload effectively
