You will work closely with farm owners and managers to identify opportunities for growth, improve efficiency, and enhance profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of farm businesses, including financial performance, operational efficiency, and market positioning.
- Develop strategic business plans, financial forecasts, and operational improvement recommendations for clients.
- Advise on aspects such as enterprise diversification, cost reduction, and risk management.
- Assist clients in understanding and applying for agricultural grants and subsidies.
- Provide guidance on compliance with relevant agricultural regulations and industry standards.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and support.
Requirements
- Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management, agricultural consulting, or a related business advisory role.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with business planning and financial analysis in the agricultural context.
- Excellent understanding of various agricultural sectors and production systems.
- Proficiency in relevant business software, including spreadsheets and presentation tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
