About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and annual budgets for the farm operation.

• Manage crop and livestock production activities to maximize yield and quality while controlling costs.
• Analyze market trends and develop strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and environmental standards applicable to UK agriculture .

Requirements

• Proven experience in farm management or a senior business management role within the agricultural industry.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L management.
• Comprehensive understanding of agricultural production systems, crop science, and/or livestock management.
• Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in farm management software and standard business applications.
