About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and hardworking Farm Hand / Agricultural Technician to join their operational team in Liverpool, Merseyside . This is a hands-on role crucial for the day-to-day running of the farm, involving a wide range of tasks related to crop cultivation and animal care. You will be involved in all stages of the farming cycle, from planting and tending crops to maintaining equipment and assisting with general farm duties. This role is perfect for someone passionate about agriculture who enjoys physical work and contributing directly to the farm's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting of various crops according to schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of farm machinery, tools, and facilities.
• Care for livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
• Operate tractors and other farm equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with general farm maintenance tasks, such as fencing and drainage.
• Follow instructions from farm supervisors and contribute to overall farm efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate basic farm machinery and hand tools.
• Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
• Good understanding of farm safety procedures.
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of crop or livestock management is a plus.
