About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Farm Hand to support daily operations at their diverse agricultural farm near Bristol . This role is integral to the smooth running of the farm, involving a variety of tasks across crop cultivation and potentially livestock care. You will work under the guidance of the Farm Manager, assisting with planting, harvesting, machinery operation, and general maintenance of the farm and its facilities. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, willing to learn, and possess a strong work ethic, contributing to the successful output of the farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with crop planting, cultivation, and harvesting operations as directed.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and implements, ensuring safe usage.
• Perform general farm maintenance, including fencing repairs, building upkeep, and grounds tidying.
• Assist with livestock feeding, watering, and general care if required.
• Load and unload supplies and products.
• Follow all farm safety procedures and guidelines diligently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in agricultural work or a related manual labor role is an advantage.
• Ability to operate basic farm machinery, or a willingness to be trained.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to completing tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• A basic understanding of farm safety practices.
