Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily dairy herd management, including feeding, health checks, and breeding programs.
• Managing milking schedules and ensuring high standards of hygiene and milk quality.
• Developing and implementing effective pasture and forage management strategies.
• Supervising and training farm staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Managing farm records, budgets, and inventory, including feed and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in dairy farm management.
• Strong knowledge of dairy cow nutrition, health, and reproduction.
• Experience with modern milking systems and farm management software.

• A practical understanding of sustainable farming practices and environmental stewardship.
• A relevant agricultural qualification or extensive equivalent experience.
