About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Farm Manager to oversee operations at their agricultural estate near Coventry . This hands-on role requires comprehensive knowledge of crop cultivation, livestock management, and modern farming practices. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the farm, ensuring productivity, profitability, and adherence to environmental and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the UK agricultural sector, contributing to the sustainable growth of the farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement farm management strategies to maximize yields and profitability.
• Oversee all aspects of crop production, including planting, cultivation, pest control, and harvesting.
• Manage livestock health, feeding programs, and breeding cycles where applicable.
• Supervise and train farm staff, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Manage farm budgets, record-keeping, and ensure compliance with agricultural policies.

Requirements

• Significant experience in farm management or a senior agricultural role.
• A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of crop science, soil management, and integrated pest management techniques.
• Experience with farm machinery operation and maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
