About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Farm Operations Supervisor to join their team in Southampton, Hampshire . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of their agricultural operations. You will be responsible for overseeing field activities, managing farm machinery, coordinating work schedules for a team of agricultural workers, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position requires a practical, hands-on approach and a solid understanding of farming techniques within the Agriculture & Forestry sector. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm staff, assigning tasks related to cultivation, planting, harvesting, and maintenance.
• Ensure all farm machinery and equipment are operated safely, maintained regularly, and in good working order.
• Monitor crop health and field conditions, reporting any issues or concerns to farm management.
• Assist in the implementation of crop management plans and best agricultural practices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within agriculture or a related field.
