About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Farm Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities on their agricultural site. This role requires hands-on management and a strong understanding of farming practices within the agriculture and forestry sectors . You will be responsible for guiding a team of farm workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards, and maintaining the operational readiness of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and a practical, problem-solving approach to farm management. This is a crucial role for ensuring the smooth and productive running of the farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure efficient operation of farm machinery and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee planting, cultivation, harvesting, and other agricultural processes according to farm plans.
• Maintain records related to crop production, livestock, inventory, and labor.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the farm.

Requirements

• Proven experience in farm operations and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop management and/or livestock care.
• Experience operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
