Field Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Field Installation Engineer to join their technical team serving clients in and around Reading . This role is hands-on and requires regular travel to customer sites to install, set up, and ensure the optimal performance of our client's products. You will be responsible for the initial deployment, ensuring all installations meet stringent quality standards and client expectations within the Berkshire region. Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations of new equipment and systems according to detailed specifications.
• Configure and test installed systems to ensure full functionality and compliance.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans.
• Provide basic user training on the operation of installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during or immediately after installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, materials used, and site conditions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a field installation or technical setup role.
• Proficiency with installation tools and techniques relevant to the industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for initial setup problems.
• A valid UK driving license and ability to travel within Berkshire .
• Good interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
