Field Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Installation Manager to lead and coordinate their installation teams operating in and around Wolverhampton . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site supervision and office-based planning, ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of installation projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and personnel, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This is a key leadership position for an individual with a strong background in field operations and excellent people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple installation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Lead, motivate, and manage teams of field installation technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any on-site challenges.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the installation process.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on all job sites to ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the installation or field service industry.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in using project management software and standard office applications.
• Based within commuting distance of Wolverhampton to facilitate site visits and team management.
