Field Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Field Operations Supervisor to oversee their operational activities in the Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK region. This role is critical for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective execution of field operations related to the Oil & Gas industry . You will lead and manage a team of field technicians and operators, ensuring all activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) procedures and policies.
• Monitor operational performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage field equipment and resources, ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks with the field crew.
• Assist in the planning and execution of field work programs.
• Train and mentor field personnel to develop their skills and safety awareness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising field operations, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong understanding of field operations, equipment, and relevant safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage teams effectively and foster a strong safety culture.
• Familiarity with work permit systems and risk assessment processes.
