About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and proactive Field Operations Supervisor to lead their remote operational teams supporting projects in the Reading area and surrounding regions. This fully remote role requires exceptional leadership and technical expertise to oversee the day-to-day execution of upstream Oil & Gas field operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. You will be responsible for managing field personnel, coordinating activities, troubleshooting operational challenges, and implementing best practices to optimize production and maintain asset integrity. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced supervisor to manage critical operations from a remote location, driving performance and safety excellence across diverse field activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage field personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily oil and gas production operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
- Coordinate activities with other departments, including maintenance, engineering, and QHSE.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate reporting of production volumes, operational status, and safety performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas field operations , with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of production operations, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with field operations management software and reporting tools.
