Job Overview

UK distributor of German CNC machines is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer based near Reading. The role involves traveling across the UK and Ireland to install, repair and maintain CNC machines, with a focus on laser manufacturing in the electronics sector.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain CNC machines across the UK and Ireland.
• Specialize in CNC laser machines used in electronics manufacturing.
• Travel extensively to service sites, including extended stays away from home.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience installing and maintaining CNC machines.
• Experience with CNC laser machines in electronics manufacturing is preferred.

Travel & Location

The role requires extensive travel throughout the UK and Ireland. Candidates should be based within commuting distance of Reading, Berkshire, Basingstoke, Hampshire, Oxford, Oxfordshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, or be willing to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary of £50,000 plus a company car or van.
