Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installations and commissioning of new equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they are comfortable operating and maintaining the equipment.
- Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance logs, and client interactions, accurately in the company's system.
- Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to share feedback and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and basic software systems relevant to the industry.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the London region.
