Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Are you a Field Service Engineer from a mechanical background, with good hydraulic knowledge, looking to join a family-run manufacturer that provides excellent training and regular travel across the UK?

The company on offer specialise in the manufacture, installation and service of automotive recycling equipment. This includes depollution systems and dismantling equipment.

Your role will be 95% field based, travelling to sites across the UK and Ireland. You will install, service, maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical recycling equipment. Travel to office once a week will be required to collect stock.

Hotels and meal allowances will be provided where needed. Full training on all products will be given, additionally training on compressors and vehicle lifts can be arranged.

The suitable candidate will be a Mobile Engineer, who is proficient in mechanical and hydraulic systems.

The Role

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of automotive recycling equipment
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Travelling to sites across the UK and Ireland
• Attending office once a week to collect stock
• Monday to Thursday, 7:30 - 5:30

The Person

• Background in mechanical field-based engineering
• Good hydraulic knowledge
• Full UK driving license
