Field Service Engineer, Medical Diagnostic Systems
Basic Salary £52,000
Car Allowance £7,200

Full Product Training
Work Schedule Five days out of seven, including some weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Provide service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostic systems used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments.
- Visit customer sites and provide customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting.
- Liaise with a range of external customer contacts, including laboratory managers and laboratory technicians from within the NHS and a variety of private independent scientific organisations and laboratories.
Qualifications
- Competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high‑value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
- Experience working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre‑press, printing or high‑value electronic/electro‑mechanical capital equipment.
- Full product training will be provided; applicants with a range of relevant backgrounds in field service and customer support will be considered.
