£35,000 - £42,000 + Door‑to‑Door Pay + Overtime (Enhanced Rate, Uncapped) + Company Van + Training

We are a long‑established, family‑owned engineering business supplying and supporting industrial machinery used to process solid wood, wood‑based panels, plastics, composites, and metals. The role is based from home with travel directly to customer sites across the South East, and you will receive support from our service office and technical team.

In this varied role you will install, commission, service, maintain, and repair industrial machinery at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns, complete machinery inspections, and produce accurate service reports. Additionally you will provide high‑quality technical advice to customers and operators while maintaining safety, workmanship and customer‑service standards.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of industrial machinery
• Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic fault‑finding, PPM, breakdown response and machinery inspections
• Field‑based work across the South East; door‑to‑door pay, company van and uncapped enhanced overtime

Qualifications & Profile

• Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer; or equivalent
• Mechanical engineering background with electrical fault‑finding knowledge
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to cover the South East and occasional other parts of the UK
