Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain complex machinery and systems according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues, performing repairs and replacements as needed.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to clients, ensuring they are proficient in operating and maintaining the installed systems.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and client interactions, accurately in the company's service management system.
• Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to troubleshoot challenging technical problems and provide feedback for product improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Technician , Field Service Engineer, or similar role, preferably within the Installation & Maintenance sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, with proficiency in diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to diagnostics and repair.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the Aberdeen operational area.
• Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeships in engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
