Field Service Engineer - Balers / Compactors / Processing Machinery

Basic Salary £60,000
Overtime + Paid Travel
Fully Expensed Company Van
Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS

We have partnered with a leading innovator in manufacturing of baler and compactors used within manufacturing industries, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer.

Successful candidates will have an engineering / technical background, either Mechanical or Electrically biased within Heavy Engineering, Plant Equipment, Welding, Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Recycling etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring plant equipment functions correctly - Balers, Compactors, Shredding machinery.
• Maintaining all equipment on site, such as conveyors, pumps, motors, robotics, gearboxes, and valves.
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Welding / Fabrication.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
