Field Water Purification Service Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000pa

Your Recruitment Coach are looking for an experienced Field Water Purification Service Engineer to join an established and growing business.

This is a hands-on role involving the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding of water purification equipment across customer sites throughout the UK. You’ll also travel to the company’s Wellingborough office for training and preparation when required.

The role

You’ll work on a range of water purification systems including:

• Reverse Osmosis and Deionisation systems

• Water softeners and filtration systems

• UV systems and ring mains

• Pumps, valves, tanks and control panels

• Electrical and mechanical equipment

• System sterilisation and pH correction systems

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, diagnosing faults and dealing directly with customers in a professional and technical manner. Experience with electrical/mechanical systems, PLCs, chemicals/COSHH and water purification equipment would be highly beneficial.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering

• A strong problem solver with excellent attention to detail

• Confident working independently and as part of a team

• Customer-focused with good communication and reporting skills

• Self-motivated and organised

• Comfortable travelling throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays

• Committed to health, safety and high-quality workmanship

Training will be provided where required, so a willingness to learn is just as important as your existing experience.
