About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic installation and maintenance team based in Aberdeen . You will be the face of the company, providing essential technical support, preventative maintenance, and prompt repair services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installations, commissioning, and routine maintenance of company products according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues.
• Execute timely and effective repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for client operations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to clients on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used, in the company's service management system.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies while on client premises.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Installation Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and potentially software systems relevant to the industry.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the Aberdeen region and surrounding areas.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
