Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission new equipment at customer premises according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues using systematic troubleshooting methods.
- Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, parts used, and time spent using the company's service management system.
- Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical challenges and provide feedback for product improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Installation Technician, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuitry, and basic software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the London area.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field are advantageous.
