About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic installation and maintenance team in London . You will be the primary point of contact for on-site technical support, diagnostics, and repair, playing a vital role in customer satisfaction and upholding our client's reputation for excellence in the Installation & Maintenance sector. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of specialized equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues efficiently.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer needs.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures during all field activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role within Installation & Maintenance .
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for travel to customer sites within London .
