Field Service Engineer
Are you looking for your next opportunity as a Field Service Engineer? Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to join our teams in the DE11–DE15 and surrounding postcode areas.
We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with experience as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, vehicle technicians, or a similar role. Experience in plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on a wide range of products, from small pallet trucks to counterbalance trucks, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks.
- Maintain accurate technical records and use IT equipment for order placement and inventory tracking.
- Work autonomously and as part of a teamwork‑oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Hydraulics discipline.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence (required for Field and Resident Engineers).
- Comfortable using IT equipment and keeping accurate records.
- Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively within a team.
